手作って遊んで （先週の写真日記おまけ）

先週
突然シューレに竹を持ってきた中等部のYくん
家の近くからいただいてきたんだって
なぜ急に竹を持ってきたのかというと…
この前の週にみんなで工作の本を読みながら
輪ゴム鉄砲とかを作ったんだ
輪ゴムを当てる的も自分で考えて作ったよ
その時の本にのっていたのが竹を使った弓の作り方
「これ作りたい！」っとなったのです
やりたいことに一所懸命
竹を割ってノコギリできれいにしていく
この日、野田市で「ぶどうの木」という親の会や居場所を長年されている
宮内さんという日曜大工大得意なおじさんが来てくれていて
危なくない道具の使い方を教えてくれたよ
また別の日
スタッフのゆーきゃんと協力して
今度は貼り付け作業
この長さ
おもちゃの小さい弓みたいなのかと思ってたら
結構本格的で驚いちゃった
接着したところを糸で巻いて固定
乾くまで時間がかかるから
続きはまたのお楽しみ

敷く場所が決まるまで…
さっそく遊び場になるカーペットくん
タイマーで計ったりして楽しんだぜ
体を動かすための道具って
学校を離れちゃうとなかなか身近になくて
体がうずうずしちゃう
でも
ちゃんとした遊具じゃなくても
なんでも自分たちがやりたいように
遊び場を作っていくみんなは天才だあー
遊びから頭と体をフルに使って
成長していくみんななのであります
